Summer Internships at Wesley

Wesley has started a summer internship program! We are looking for two summer interns to help lead our outreach on campus and our summer ministries here at Wesley. There is a $2,500 stipend for the summer, plus housing is provided.

Summer Residential Staff at Wesley

Have to stay in Tallahassee for the summer to take classes? Want to serve Wesley in a different way for a summer? Apply for Wesley's Summer Staff! This is a great way to serve this community. Summer at Wesley is a special time because it is a lot smaller and is more intimate. We house students in the staff apartments for cheap rent and create an intentional Christian community during the summer. During the summer, Wesley events still happen in full force and we need students that are willing to help us with that. This involves Sunday services, Wednesday night dinners, small groups, outreach events, community-building events, staff bonding, getting to know new students and more. Summer Pastoral Internship - Florida Conference

The Office of Clergy Excellence, a Connectional Ministry of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, sponsors the Summer Pastoral Ministry Internship Program. This program is for young adults, ages 18-26, who are interested in exploring ordained ministry through 10-week summer internships at United Methodist Churches and other approved extension ministry settings within the Florida Conference. These internships seek to provide a holistic, hands-on experience in pastoral ministry within a variety of areas of responsibility and under the guidance of a supervisor. Summer Mission Internships - Florida Conference
The mission of the Summer Mission Intern Program is to provide hand-on opportunities for young adults to make a difference in the world by serving out of a deep level of their Christian faith, particularly with children and youth in under-served communities. Summer Mission interns serve in Christian community day camps and outreach ministries within The Florida United Methodist Church, including CROS Ministries an Grace Place for Children and Families. CLICK HERE for more information. 

Mountain T.O.P. - Eastern Tennessee 
Mountain T.O.P. (Tennessee Outreach Project) is an interdenominational, non-profit Christian Mission affiliated with the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church, dedicated to rural life ministry in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee. Warren Willis Camp - Fruitland Park, FL

The summer staff of the Warren W. Willis United Methodist Camp is made up of 90-100 high school graduates and college students from around Florida, other parts of the country, and the world. We believe that these students have been called by God to be in ministry. Our Wesley community has a great partnership with Warren Willis over the years. The Gathering Place - Brunswick, GA

Each summer, The Gathering Place hires 12-14 paid college interns to lead and mentor 100 plus local high school students. Collectively this team helps reach 7000 plus middle school and high school students with the Gospel through the Main Event: a high energy Sunday night worship experience with music, lights, video, and a relevant message for students. Project Transformation - Nashville, TN

Project Transformation Tennessee offers faith-based internships for young adults who have completed one year of college or are at least 19 years old and are interested in serving others. Our internships are designed to offer hands-on opportunities to build lasting relationships with underserved children and youth, live in intentional Christian community, experience cultural and socio-economic diversity, and explore various careers in ministry and service. As a United Methodist-affiliated organization, we offer opportunities for young adult interns to grow in their faith journey and discern their calling to ministry, whether it may be within the church or in traditionally secular fields. QuadW Missional Internships - Kansas, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Oregon

QuadW Missional Internship positions open for Summer 2015 for college-aged young people. Includes $2000 stipend plus room and board. You will relationally serve in inner city neighborhoods, live in Christian community with other interns, and receive mentoring from experienced practitioners. Opportunities are available in Mobile; Montgomery; Kansas City (KS and MO); Pine Bluff and Little Rock, Arkansas; Redding, PA (outside Philadelphia); and tentatively Columbus, OH, and Portland, OR. ​Harvest Summer Ministry Teams - Across the USA
Harvest is a non-for-profit ministry with a desire to give students and young adults experience in ministry. Harvest accomplishes this by taking students for on the road training to churches, camps and youth events. Since its beginning in 1996, over 110 people have been involved with the ministry. Camp Tekoa - Western North Carolina 

Camp Tekoa is a summer camp and conference center located in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina, near Hendersonville. Tekoa is owned and operated by the Western NC Conference of the United Methodist Church. Tekoa offers a wide variety of summer resident and day camps for boys and girls.
